Minimally-Invasive Oral Surgery in Erie County

Oral Surgery Provider in Williamsville NY

If you are like the rest of our patients, you want your oral surgery in Williamsville, NY to be as pain-free as possible, with a quick and comfortable return to health and function. This is our goal, too, and why we incorporate the most cutting-edge technologies and minimally invasive surgical techniques into all our treatments. Leveraging this with our vast training and experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, we provide predictable care that minimizes the risk of pain and swelling and maximizes your long-term surgical outcomes. Best of all, our advanced surgical techniques better ensure a faster, more comfortable recovery and no postoperative complications, even if your treatment is more complex.

Ensuring Minimally Invasive Surgery

The distinct amount of education, training, and experience we have achieved as oral surgeons is certainly a testament to the dedication we have to provide the best care for our patients. We take this one step further by adding an array of technologies and techniques to ensure your surgery is as minimally invasive and predictable as possible.

  • PIEZOSURGERY®: Piezosurgery allows us to selectively cut bone without cutting or harming the surrounding gum tissue. Using ultrasonic vibrations, this technology significantly improves precision and safety in oral surgery, resulting in faster and more comfortable healing after the procedure.

  • VERSAH® DENSAH BURS: Versah burs allows us to compact spongy bone (the result of tooth and bone loss) so dental implants can be placed with greater primary stability. This “osseodensification” process improves bone density and expands the jaw ridge, increasing the predictability and long-term success of dental implants.

  • SIRONA CBCT SCANNING: CBCT scans give us a 3D digital representation of the inside of your mouth, including the location of teeth and nerves and the quality of bone. This information helps guide our oral surgery treatment planning so we can provide more predictable, minimally invasive, and safe procedures.

Embracing the Advantages of Minimally Invasive Oral Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery in oral and maxillofacial care brings a multitude of benefits, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable patient experience. This approach typically involves less pain, reduced swelling, and minimal tissue damage, leading to quicker and more comfortable recovery periods. With advanced technologies like Piezosurgery® and Sirona CBCT scanning, precision is significantly enhanced, minimizing risks and improving the safety of procedures. Such minimally invasive methods not only make the surgical experience less daunting for patients but also enhance the predictability and longevity of the outcomes, providing a solid foundation for long-term oral health and functionality.

I just had my wisdom teeth removed and the entire experience was way better than I expected. The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in, and they explained everything clearly so I knew what was happening. The procedure itself was quick and painless

Incredibly professional, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I felt very safe with the medical team. I am a high risk patient (being on chemo), and I felt at ease going through my tooth extractions with this team. The office is warm, inviting, and incredibly clean. They called to check up on me. I like that I can text them to ask questions.

Dr. Nigalye and his staff are fantastic. I had to have some dental work done and was referred to him by my dentist and couldn't be happier. He was very thorough and really made me feel comfortable with the decision that I was making. After surgery he called to make sure that everything was good and let me know that if there were any problems to call. Dr Nigalye and his staff make you feel at ease and very comfortable. I recommend him 100%.

Love this place, can’t recommend it enough. If you get surgery you get a full tub of ice cream which is my favorite part. If you’re from the area it’s from Lake Effect Ice Cream.
